To be fair he also got hit in the face with a beer bottle.

I still can't get over the fact that he couldn't hold his liquor AND fight. I'm like "where's he from?" I also found it amusing that he kept charging players rather than actually fight. Hold up now fat man cuz you can't be too fast.

He's from Georgia FWIW.

I also like his friend in the bar fight video trying to go after Dorian Baker but is being held back by a girl that was with them. Good thing she held him back.

Ah makes sense, I knew we could do better than that.

Could you imagine what would've happened if he actually hit Nerlens Noel with the bottles he tossed at him a couple years ago?

A fan would've likely got his arse then.

No doubt. It'd probably be a scrawny arse one at that! But he'd deliver the beat down of Scurry's life.

What is it with UK and EKU? Is there some backstory to all these off the field shenanigans?

Richmond is next door to Lexington. 20 miles. If East Tennessee State was that close to Knoxville, I'd bet there would be some clashes between them, too.

My thoughts exactly. If he is your team's QB how do you just watch him lay on the ground and let that dude get away with it.

He's white probably.

It's not just that tho. A lot of players who might've been able to play elsewhere wind up at EKU either as transfers or because they were offered immediate schollys rather than preferred walk-on or just a walk-on. Some had good offers but grades or test scores from HS screwed it up for them. Plus, tuition is cheaper and UK had much better facilities.

ETSU is good school with pretty good facilities so there's no jealousy. With EKU though it's much easier to have a chip on your shoulder about not getting treated the same as UK players -- much easier for an EKU player to see UK players as spoiled or entitled.

Every kid under 21 goes to Richmond (EKU) to party because you only have to be 18 to get into bars there. EKU players are jealous because it's still UK country and no one gives a crap about them. Perfect recipe for this kind of stuff.

Here's what I don't get, other than Baker and Dubose literally doing nothing when their buddy got knocked out, why did Graffee go after Barker only? It's not like it was Barker alone who hospitalized Scurry.

And you probably can't discount that the kid who threw the sucker punch is a Joker recruit who got processed when Stoops came on and couldn't land anywhere better than EKU.

And just as "Justified" ends the series, we see the beginnings of a related series--just as "Breaking Bad" did with "Batter Call Saul."

Meh. Grafree will be leaving Commonwealth with a limp in September. We'll take care of it on the field.

If any of those guys are UK players that just stood around, that tells me all I need to know about that program. If anyone did that to one of LSU'S starters in front of 10 players, there would be not standing around. No wonder UK sucks

EKU A.D. Steps up....

“The legal process has run its course and the Eastern Kentucky University Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is following its prescribed procedure in dealing with the events involving our student-athletes on January 25, 2015. We hold all of our EKU students to very high standards and those who violate these codes of conduct are held accountable.

Given the actions of these student-athletes, these players have been suspended from the EKU Football roster. Their future at the University will be determined pending the decision by personnel within our Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. This type of behavior will not be tolerated.

From this point forward, this is an internal student judicial issue and the University plans to make no further comment. “

ETA: And apparently he wasn't alone. I couldn't make out who all was with him there. But I know Baker (not Barker) was coming off knee surgery right around then. I'd probably be reluctant to jump in on that too if that's the case.

Wasn't Baker involved in the fight earlier in the night?

Was the knee surgery in between the two fights?
