It's only a matter of time before this starts affecting recruiting.

At 7:41 in the video, a cop littered and knocked the bottle on the ground before the car drove off.

The funny thing is, that bottle had liquid in it when they were looking at it earlier, and when it got knocked off, you could see the liquid was empty and hear the empty bottle "click" when it hit the pavement.

What happened to the liquid and what was it? Also, what's the fine for littering in FL?

Plus, the chief of UGA police has a serious power complex and the AJC has interns scan the Athens police blotter daily, as UGA arrests (even traffic incidents) mean an instant mega boost in page hits when they publish the story.

Players have already gone on record saying that it is used in negative recruiting against UGA. The message being put out there isn't that we breed thugs, it's that you can get in trouble on any given night because you're targeted in Athens. One player said he was told, "Athens isn't safe."

And cops wonder why a lot of people don't respect them anymore.

Cops been profiling athletes at UF since I played there back in the 80's. Bunch of trigger happy, pompous, crackers. Look back at most of the frivolous arrests in G'ville over the years. Cops have nothing better to do then harass athletes and frats. Bunch of bullshite.

Oh.

The cops were definitely acting like assholes here. I couldn't tell, but it looked like he was cooperating and they kept pushing his arse onto the car. Morrison maintained his composure well IMO.

That's fricking ridiculous. There was minimal resisting. If he really wanted to "resist arrest" he could have put a hurting on at least one of those idiot cops. I'd probably resist more than he did if a cop tried to arrest me for some petty bullshite like that.

Yes he did, funny thing was the bottle had liquid in it earlier in the video, and it was empty when he littered it onto the ground so the other cop could drive away.

Gators linebacker Antonio Morrison should have received a warning rather than been arrested for barking at a police dog Sunday morning, Alachua County Sheriff Sadie Darnell told the Gainesville Sun on Monday. Darnell, however, did tell the Sun that the arresting officer, Deputy William Arnold, made a split-second decision during a chaotic situation. Morrison's arrest was his second in five weeks and led coach Will Muschamp to suspend his starting middle linebacker for at least two games.

Lloyd said if Cervone decides Morrison's arrest Sunday does not merit prosecution it might not affect the settlement. If Morrison is charged with interfering with a police animal and resisting arrest, it could impact the settlement.

"That's why it's an issue," Lloyd said.

If the sherrif is already calling into questoin the validity of that arrest, I'd be shocked if it stood.

An arrest can't be undone. The charges may be dropped but we still get those Fulmer Cup points. We can still win that damn thing finally.

Yeah this is BS. On the other hand, I continue to be amazed how these kids simply don't know how to lay low after getting in trouble a few weeks ago. Both seem to be idiots
