No...Sark did it and was warned by the AD. An alcoholic would simple take that as a warning to tone it down but no need to stop because he was in control of his faculties. The extent of his problem became obvious when he did it again a few weeks later.
Even if that was Sumlin, he shouldn't be fired for it. No law against getting drunk and he wasn't causing a problem.

Well, no. Sark was obviously drunk at a press conference with television coverage, then drunk enough for a team meeting that staff wouldn't allow him to participate. I have no idea whether that's Sumlin or not, and it's definitely not in Oxford. If it IS him, stumbling into a hotel is a whole helluva lot different than what Sark did.

Everybody who is convinced this is Sumlin should take another look at the video and note his gut. If it is him it is at least 3 years old. Speaking from experience, there are some things you cannot hide.
