When was the last time an undefeated Tennessee faced a winless Florida? Has it ever happened?

Here's another strange possibility, according to 247, neutral sites have already been scouted in case the game can't be played in Gainesville.

Would have been 1984 had you guys played in the 3rd week of CFB. They lost to Miami to start the season, then tied with LSU the next week.

I wonder if they will consider Knoxville as an option.

Rumor that SEC asked, and neither school would agree.

Yeah. Auburn fans didn't want to play in Clemson either.

Yeah smart on UT after seeing how uf duped lsu. Difference in prepping for home games with 100k+. Will be tough to handle for knoxville last min.

We could do it, but we're not going to for several reasons. Plus Currie won't agree to consecutive games in the Swamp. Hart might have, but not Currie.

I dont think knoxville could handle it week of so easily. lots of planning is put into it with schedules in place. Could try but it'll cost a lot more etc. Local business dont have orders in etc.

Yeah the whole being duped by uf part was referring to the whole giving them consecutive home games.

And hart sux in general. Just love being able to say that when I can.

A battle of two midgets, with UT being the much taller midget.

Let's see what you look like with Scarlett and Calloway back. Florida always looks easily beatable until the 3rd Saturday in September.

I don't think we know for sure if they will be back.

I think UF will bounce back and look better than the Michigan game though. I don't think they're as bad as all that.

If UT doesn't bring their A game obviously UF can win.

We have an A game?

I wish someone would call Butch and Shoop and clue them in.

Nashville should be the play here imo.

It makes sense and would be awesome, because Atlanta is probably not a possibility, but Florida would have to agree and I don't think they would.
