Preseason polls are worthless. Next season polls are worse.

UGAg at 11 ... with a new OC, new QB ...

-we had a new QB this year and led the league in PPG.
-We still have chubb/sony/marshall at RB
-Have 4/5 returners on the OL
-MM and JSW at receiver
-Both TEs
-Over half the starters on D return

Where IYO should we be ranked? 25th?

The dumbutts screwed up Ole Miss and State. State has their first double digit win since 99. Ole Miss' last one was in 03, and they have yet to reach double digits this year, but they could.

Underclassmen haven't even declared for the NFL yet (deadline hasn't passed) and the 2015 class has even signed yet. I have never cared for these early top 25 lists. They are always wrong and most of the time they are just going off the current season happenings.

To be fair, they had 3/4 of the playoffs: LINK

We're always ranked top 10 in preseason … and usually finish 14-20 at season's end. So ranking us #9 sounds about right, although I'm surprised we're not like #5 or 6.

The first year Ohio State actually exceeds expectations and they get to be preseason #1

I'm cautiously optimistic about 2015, I feel like anything less than 8 regular season wins is going to be a disappointment. We really just need our OL to keep their head down, and work hard all off-season. I feel like all of the pieces are there, with the exception of that unit.

I'm pretty sure he was posting about 2014, and not 1999.
