Baker is better than clown Johnny Manziel.

Darnold at +900 is where my money would go. Kid is legit and the media would love to hype him and USC up next year.

Any poll that has Josh Rosen in the top 10 looses all credibility.

quote:Hurts was a green horn, 18 yr old with no college experience under his belt. He will get top notch training in the off-season, he's a hard worker and we will see him be a more mature QB in the Fall.
Bama would have the same exact record if Stewart lined up at QB for Bama. Hurts did really well until he faced good defenses who realized he literally can't make the intermediate throws with accuracy.
You end up with bubble screen right, bubble screen left, dump to the RB safety valve, throw deep, or QB scramble. More similar to a triple option than an actual passing attack
Eddie Jackson did more for the Bama offense than Hurts did IMO

Sure. But I see freshman throwing over the middle and making reads every season. Jordan Jefferson showed promise as a freshman too.
Hurts seems like a dedicated dude and he seems to have nerves of steel.. but being able to consistently make routine throws is just as important.

Jalen hurts
He will probably lose his job to Tua.

Who, as a true freshman, did this consistently? Furthermore, Hurts made plenty of throws over the middle, and made plenty of reads this season. Sure, he struggled against the best defenses, but he wasn't awful passing the ball most of the season.

this is why its hard to take you serious BMY.

He had a pretty good showing against GT and there was a good bit of hype about him.
Hurts made a lot less over the middle throws than you think he did. Unless you're counting shovel passes and dump offs

It's Mayfields to lose with that shitty conference and no defense
Team returns everyone and they will be challenged in one game - Ohio St

Correct. As I said, if he wins at Ohio State, it's his.
