If neither UT nor Bama got better or worse in relation to each other from last year to this year, and home field is worth 3 points one way as is commonly assumed, UT will beat Bama by 1 in Neyland this year. Just a thought.

When The Vols finish 3rd in the East again which of these will be the primary excuse:
1. We had so many injuries nobody would have overcome it. If your team had this many injuries you would have finished last!
2. Our schedule was so hard we got screwed. If your team had Bama as a yearly rival your record would suffer as well!
3. The freaking refs cost us 2 road games this year, freaking Ga and A&M home cooking!
4. The year they finally turn on Butch and start dismantling him brick by brick.

You're trying very hard here. If we lose the road games, its not like it would surprise us. We haven't been very good on the road as of late.

If you see an early loss to VA Tech or UF, then you will start to see this. Tts the nature of any fanbase hungry and expectant for wins.
