Dawgs are 5-point favorites over the Smelly Reptiles which comes out to a 64.1% chance of having the Gators for dinner. Last year, #7 UGA beat #9 Florida, 36-17, as a 7-point favorite; the Dawgs were 14-point favorites in 2017, winning 42-7.

All time series matchups when both schools are ranked in the top ten at the same time is dead-even at 3-3.

UGA coach Kirby Smart is 5-2 straight up all time as a 6.5-point favorite or fewer (2016 Georgia Tech; 2017 at Auburn).

The favorite in this series has won each game this decade when the spread has been 10 points or fewer.

Georgia has beaten Florida 10 times when the Gators were ranked in the top 10 at the time of their meeting:

1964 - UGA 14, #9 Gators 7
1966 - UGA 27, #7 Gators 10
1974 - UGA 17, #6 Gators 16
1976 - #7 UGA 41, #10 Gators 27
1983 - #4 UGA 10, #9 Gators 9
1985 - #17 UGA 24, #1 Gators 3
1997 - #14 UGA 37, #6 Gators 17
2007 - #20 UGA 42, #9 Gators 30
2012 - #12 UGA 17, #3 Gators 9
2018 - #7 UGA 36, #9 Gators 17

Florida has beaten Georgia 8 times when the Dawgs were ranked in the top 10 at the time of their meeting:

1984 - #10 Gators 27, #8 UGA 0
1992 - #20 Gators 26, #7 UGA 24
1999 - #5 Gators 30, #10 UGA 14
2002 - Gators 20, #5 UGA 13
2003 - #23 Gators 16, #4 UGA 13
2005 - #16 Gators 14, #4 UGA 10
2008 - #5 Gators 49, #8 UGA 10
2014 - Gators 38, #9 UGA 20

Georgia leads the all-time series, 52-43-2.

I absolutely expect UGA to win this game. Of course you never know. Thinking about pounding that moneyline, depending on what it looks like.

You forgot 2 important facts.

1. UGA is 9-21 vs Florida in the last 30 games.

2.1980.

I can’t believe it’s only been 6 times y’all have played each other when both of you are ranked in the top ten. I would think it would have been way more.

So if Georgia wins, then...

Georgia > Florida > South Carolina > Georgia

Ahh, the east.

Arbitrary start dates are fun, now let's go the all time series record which Georgia leads 53-43-2

Your selective history is amusing. Since you enjoy playing that game, how about this:

Florida was just 5-24-1 against the Dawgs from 1904 to 1952...a period of 48 years.

From the FIRST game in 1904 all the way to 1990....Florida only won 22 games against the Dawgs....a period of 86 years!!! The Gators only won 22 games!!! In 86 years!!!! Against the Dawgs!!!!

How's that for selectivity??? Hmmm???

And not one person on this entire website was alive to see any of those games.

But, quite a few of us have seen the last 30 games. The ones where UGA is 9-21

So what counts?

1. The record dating back to the first game?

2. The record for the last 8 years?

3. The record for the last 30 years?

4. Or the one where Georgia has blown out Florida 2 years in a row?

and why do Florida fans only reference #3?

and why are they so obsessed with Georgia’s personal achievements outside of the series between the two? You’d think that would be irrelevant.
