I love our away whites, but if those vandy unis are as light as they appear I hope we wear red. I think that'd look pretty cool matched up with theirs.

Yeah, I think you all are wearing red. Richt was asked about it in the presser, and he was actually a bit off-guard. He did say that he can't remember ever not working with a home team if they want to wear a white or light jersey. However, he couldn't remember signing off for this particular game. I hope we don't have another fiasco with emails this year.

Deep Water and Anchor Down don't really work together for me. I'm not a sailor, but isn't it difficult to anchor down in deep water?

I do like the jerseys/helmet though

yeah I wonder how far in advance that is worked out. Obviously when we play in baton rouge and many times when we play in atlanta, it's known well ahead of time the home team is wearing white so we're wearing red. Do you know if vandy just now had this idea or had it been worked out for some time? Can you sign off on a change of the typical uniform colors 5 days in advance?

You act like I have connections.

I have no clue about the decision making process. I did look the rule up about a home team wearing light uniforms when these were revealed. I don't remember their being a minimum time for it to be decided, just that the away team is given fair warning and signs off on the situation.

Indeed it is. You have to have the proper equipment. You have to have a big chain.

I just assumed these were euphemisms for rape.

They must really hate those uni's to start them off in an arse beating.

Well to be fair, there's not many games on their schedule where this wouldn't be an issue.

true. I know hindsight's 20/20 but you'd think the opener against WK would have been as good a game as any. Or week 3 against AP.

State got into a little trouble last year putting "Hail State" on our unis

I don't think you can put slogans/nicknames on jerseys, IIRC

Might get penalized, but I like them

You can't on the jersey. You can put them on the pants. At least, that's how the rule seemed to be written.

I may be mistaken but it seems like I heard Vandy was actually a dog going into the WKU game.

Not bad. Although, I think UGA beats them 55-0.

Vandy opened as a 16.5 point favorite, and that was bet down to 2.5, I think.

I think that sounds right too...my point was that like you said, there really aren't many chances for them to win this year. If they want to create excitement wiht the jerseys and get fans to the stands, you'd think they'd do it a)in a game they might win and b)in a game that the attendance would otherwise be lacking.

People are going to go to the UGA game regardless just because of the opopnent. As you saw last week though, there were like 8 people tailgating on campus for hte WK game. I'm just saying it seems like they're really picking a crappy game to do this. Unless of course they're hoping it creates SO MUCH excitement it might help them beat us. But I think that's extremely unlikely to happen.

Don't tell adidas this. They'll throw a hashtag on our pants.

There was a feller from Arkansas and a feller from California pissing off a bridge

Feller from California says, "this water is cold"

Feller from Arkansas says "and it's deep too"
