Not trying to troll here. On paper y'alls roster is pretty scary. Looked at Vandy's record with the UT-Vandy game coming up this week and its looks like they have underachieved a little bit. Is it injuries, coaching, or something else? If coaching is there any chance Stallings would be on the hot seat this year?

It's unacceptable, although the roster was overrated prior to the season. Stalling should be gone after this season. Vandy bball has plateaued under him.

He already is on the hot seat

As far as I know, there's really no reason for this. I'm already longing for baseball and football seasons.

Expectations were high with everyone but Siakam coming back. But even being a year older, the same weaknesses of lack of rebounding, turnovers, and inability to finish close games has continued to plague this team. They've greatly underachieved and at some point it has to fall squarely on Stallings. Whatever he has tried to do to improve or get through to this team simply hasn't worked and he has lost them to some extent. If he can't at least get this team into the NCAAs, it'll be time for Stallings to go.

They have shown they can play with anybody but have had trouble sealing the deal. Some of that is on constant foul trouble with Jones, health trouble with Kornet, and some shooting slumps with some guys who were money last year. Seems to be coming around right now so it isn't over yet.

I dunno how funny it is, but if we dig real deep, maybe we can find the extra 3 points to get past you next year. I mean, that 43 yard FG with two minutes to go in the game to put y'all up 9-7 was a backbreaker and all, but at least y'all got to celebrate like crazy after pulling out the improbable win.

I haven't followed the non-conference all that closely but I thought Vandy was only really getting all their top players together for the first time all season right now?

Not a Vanderbilt fan by any means, but I thought Vandy was a damn fine team out in the Hawaii tourney.

Man, have they proven me wrong.

No, they had one guy injured for a couple weeks and they sucked before he got hurt and they still suck now. Part of the problem is Riley LaChance has taken a huge step back after leading all SEC freshmen in scoring last year.

As a team though, they are characterized by the Stallings hallmarks of zero rebounding, playing soft defense, and an offense consisting entirely of jump shots

Huh. I thought I remembered him as being an actual Gator fan. Well, if he's a Tennessee fan, I don't need to make fun of his team. I can just dickride Bama when their rebuilding team takes out the best UT team in nearly two decades.
