I'm not saying y'all are. I don't understand the situation. I just know Baylor fans like to say that what happened at UT is worse than what happened at Baylor, with the only difference being that the media are giving you a pass.

Again, I'm not saying that's true. Can you explain the real situation to me? Thanks.

Edit: here's is a link to Baylor fans discussing the situation:

Tennessee, Missouri, and Baylor are pretty much best friends.

Wow! I didn't expect that answer! I figured the Baylor fans were full of shite. I assume you're being sarcastic?

HOLY shite That is delusion Level: Phat Phil

Any player on our team that was merely accused of sexual assault (not convicted, indicted, or even charged, just accused) was immediately suspended or dismissed from the team.

Baylor did the exact opposite, they not only let their rapists play, but they actively tried to cover it up.

The way that the administration and coaches handled their respective situations couldn't have been more different. One tried to hide and cover up facts so his players could continue to play until proven guilty and one suspended all players l involved immediately after hearing of the accusactions. Even when it came to light that the allegations were untrue.

What I'm saying:
Briles acted like a scum bag
Jones did everything within his power to set an example that this was not ok and wouldn't be tolerated.

The media desperately wants/need Tennessee to be relevant again now that LSU has showed they miss the 90s.

Someone has to be the big game of the year with Bama now.

That escalated quickly. I think there is going to be a whole lot of going on between the Aggies and Vols. IIRC, they already had a good bit of jousting this summer.

There's really too many differences to discuss. One major one being that Butch didn't try to cover anything up. Even if there were allegations, Butch would immediately suspend the player. Even after charges were dropped the player still had to earn his way back.

The lawsuit was a complete farce, prof being how little UT paid. The same girl that dropped charges against Alexis Johnson quickly jumped into the lawsuit for a payday.

Our university also doesn't have a history of covering things up.

Jones got a heads up from the cops and alerted the players. Jones is scum.
