I say it's close but USC pulls away with in the first quarter and wins by 3-10. Should be an excellent game though.
They'll reappear once they beat Tennessee, don't worry.

Think it will be a very good game only matchup that concerns me really is VU's OL against USCe DL. The improvement in Vandy's OL after the first 3 games of last season was really the key to the offense having such a productive 2nd half of the year. From all the practice reports the most improved position on the team this fall is the OL but they will get a MAJOR test with SC. I honestly think it will be a close game and if VU wins the TO battle will have a chance to come out on top. Need a couple of breaks though.

I don't see vandy taking this one. They have major concerns at linebacker and their offensive line isn't good enough to stop clowney and co. South Carolina by 14

It will be a good game, close for the first half. I think the Gamecocks have the depth advantage and will wear the Dores down and win by 10-17 points.

Well last season we won by 18 with a drunk qb who turned it over 4 times.
No drunk qb = infinite beatdown of vandy.

Vandy would have been better off with a drunk Stephen Garcia at QB than Larry Smith. Love the guy he was the starting QB as a RS Fr. for the first bowl win in 51 years but holy crap he was terrible. Rodgers would have started from the get go if it wasn't for an injury and surgery the previous spring. Excited for the matchup if we can play with Carolina for 4 quarters I have no doubt VU can matchup with anyone on the schedule.

Carolina held VU to 5 first downs and 77 total yards in 2011. Garcia had 4 ints in that game. Shaw will take care of the ball.
