I wanted to ask these questions in the USC forum but have not been given permission to post. Feel to move to that forum if possible.

Two questions for RV travel:

1. LSU weekend at USC. State fairgrounds are closed to RV parking and Farmer's Market only open to season parking holders. The parking agreement with Capital City Parking has not been signed for this upcoming season. Any other suggestions on where to park a RV for that weekend near the stadium?

2. If I cannot park near the stadium I will have to rent a car and drive from a nearby campground. Is there parking area large enough for a RV at the airport while I run in and pick up a rental car?

Thanks for any information

you have likely spoke with either USC or the Fair folks at this point. our RV parking leaves a bit to be desired for visiting schools when the damn fair is ongoing - and really in general.

you may be able to secure something at Colonial Life Arena and then ride shuttles to/from W-B. there is also a Hertz Car rental on Gervais St within walking distance of CLA's big parking lots if you need a car. no airport fees either.

National Guard Armory (Bluff Rd) may be using our old practice fields to park this season. they also have a large lot behind their main building facing Bluff Rd.

SC Fair 803-799-3387 or kyleg@scstatefair.org
SC National Guard Armory 803-771-4319

wish I knew more. I'll ask around.

1801 - thanks for this information. I have spoken to both USC and the State Fair folks. Appreciate the info on Colonial Life Arena and the National Guard Armory. I will give the Armory a call tomorrow. Again, thanks for the insight
