He's likely bringing you to a bowl game in his first year. I know it's probably going to be Sheveport, but you have to be happy with that. I think that's impressive considering what he inherited. Maybe he learned something from his mistakes (other than perhaps having the same OC).

He certainly has done better than I thought he would in his first year.

Oh yeah, I know it's a tad early, but I please beat Clemson.

Personally more angry that shawn elliott is around than I am happy that Muschamp is taking us to a bowl game.

Recruiting is going fine. We will get a few more good players for this class.

Personally, I am happy with CWM. I predicted 6-6 at the beginning of the year, but when we lost to Kentucky, I knew it was a stretch. Shore up the trenches, and we will be fine. We have some players on offense in Bentley, Dowdle, Samuel, and Edwards.

Yeah...I am definitely pleased with the results Muschamp has had this year..far exceeded what anyone thought we would be capable of. But..I absolutely feel that a couple of the games we lost rest firmly on Shawn Elliott's shoulders and his shitty arse OL coaching. Champ has GOT to fire him and get someone in there who knows wtf they are doing. Give Bentley a chance to show everything he is capable of instead of scrambling for his life bc of a crappy OL.

I don't see how Elliott could possibly retain his job after this season.

Can you 100% blame Elliott? Could it be the lack of recruiting of the OL instead?

He's been our OL coach for at least 5 yrs I believe. If its lack of OL recruiting its his lack of OL recruiting

I thought we were a 4 win team at beginning of year, so I am very happy with Muschamp. What he has done with our D is nothing short of a miracle given how charmin soft they were last year. Recruiting looks promising and we have some greak freshmen at the skill positions on offense. A+ so far.

Oh and F Shawn Elliott.

I am content, he inherited a 3 win team, that was fricking terrible on defense and offense. During the time Jake Bentley has been the QB (last 3 games) we've been statistically better on offense than last year. Our defense has had a dramatic turnaround, we lead the SEC in Turnover Margin and are in the Top25 nationally in several defensive statistics.

Our biggest playmakers on Offense are FR or Soph's. We have 10 of 11 starters coming back next year on offense. We have a DE who is 3rd in the SEC in Sacks (we didn't have any in the SEC Top25 last year.) We'll be returninng 7or8 of 11 starters from this year (but we also will be getting Skai Moore back at LB.) Recruiting is consistent. Everything is building. Muschamp and his staff have made us a much better team this year than we were last year.

As far as OL, we need a new coach or a new scheme. Elliott is responsible for OL recruiting and scheme, and however you split it, it's not getting done for us. OG Zack Bailey is a stud, but he needs more guys around him to step up. He was also the highest rated guy on that OL. So maybe Elliott's issue is talent, and we need some more 4*/5* stud OL.

Yes, getting to a bowl game will be big no matter where it is.

Our defense is already a lot better than it was last year, and it will only get better with recruiting. Plus we get Skai Moore back for next year.

Not sure what the right call is with the O-line. They had the most experience returning and were supposed to be a strength of our team. If they figure that out then our offense will only get better with young guys like Bentley, Dowdle and Edwards.

I'm pretty good with Muschamp right now ... he has them playing with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

Looking forward to seeing how well he does against Clemson and, hopefully, in a bowl and then seeing how he does with recruiting.

I think he's done about as well as he could, hit the ground running with recruiting and hasn't let up. Potentially 6-6 with a bowl game first year is as good as I had hoped for.

Its firing Elliott. How many more disappointing OLs year after year do you need to see?

I have known Shawn Elliott for many years. Long before he became a USC coach. Great guy. Huge Gamecock fan forever. Dogshit as a D1 line coach.

Very surprised by Champ's year one success. I predicted 3 wins max. We are bad but I have seen us much, much worse. Pulling for him.
