There are literally dozens of car dealerships between Tuscaloosa and Bimingham alone that specialize in "no credit, no problem" and "buy here, pay here" loans. And most of those cars retail used for less than $20K. That's a payment of about $300.

i never understood why it is ok to lure players with swanky facilities and housing but not with gifts and personal payments. it is all about bribing them.

i think it is Saban's personality that makes people wonder how he can recruit so well.

Malachi Dupree comes from a very wealthy family his dad has done very well in the oil and gas industry. With that said you can go to any college football players parking lot and see the same thing a ton of expensive cars or expensive looking cars that people perceive as expensive. Those cars don't compare to what I've seen at the lsu baseball players parking area

I remember my first year in college... there were an awful lot of nice cars being driven around by freshmen, and another huge group of freshman who needed a lift everywhere they went.
