This thread smells like the desperation of a troll who hasn’t been laid in ten years.

I'm not here to debate whether or not LSU this season was the best college football team ever because that is not a debate anyone can ever win. I'm actually not here to debate anything. I'm just here to say that LSU had the greatest season ever and it isn't especially close. Yes, they scored more points than any team ever did and yes their players and coaches won the Heisman, the Maxwell, the Walter Camp, the Davey O'Brien, the Biletnikoff, the Jim Thorpe, the Frank Broyles, and the Coach of the Year awards.

They played 15 games - they never trailed in the fourth quarter. In fact, they only ever trailed by double digits one time that was Monday and they then outscored Clemson 35 to 8 after falling behind.

But those don't tell the story of what this team accomplished. LSU beat 7 top 10 teams - that's the most ever.

They beat four top five teams – last time that happened was the year I was born.

They're the only team ever to beat the entire preseason top four - three of those were their last three games - the other was Alabama on the road with Tua.

And here is my final argument – This season Clemson, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, went a combined 60-4 against everybody else. LSU beat them all by an average of 20 points a game.

So you can have all the debates you want. I'm just going to sit here smile and say ‘I rest my case’.

And we all know what those contributing players from that team are doing in the league, from both sides of the ball.

Guess that clown doesn't realize the 2019 Tigers beat the 2019 Bama team that was better than the 2020 Bama team, but glad you found an article to make you stop beating your wife/sister since the Mich. game

I see we've entered the part of the argument where we just literally make shite up and talk as if it is real.

So you telling me 2020 Bama beats 2019 Bama? The 2019 starters have to play on the 2019 team.... Good luck 2020 Bama

2019 Auburn beat 2019 Bama, so I think we can go ahead and end the discussion there.

Was it dominant?

Absolutely.

But it was a team with a 4th year QB and returning offensive and defensive coordinators going against many programs who installed their offense and/or defense during zoom sessions.

It is a joke of a level playing field. The formula for a successful season was as basic as consistency.

Burrow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jones
Chase, Jefferson, Marshall >>>>>>>>>>> Bama WRs

Also, the fact that Bama fans are holding on tight to 2020 (your last title*) is hilarious. The latest sign tdecline is definitely real.

So by your "logic," 2019 LSU could not be better than 2018 LSU because the same guy was playing QB?

Who would have thought in a year where nobody could practice in the Spring, that the team with more 5* would look disproportionately better.

The World Wide Leader in Sports and USA Today agree.

Was there ever a doubt outside of Louisiana?

Joe Burrow got shut out at home by Bama in 2018, didn’t he? Players never improve, I agree.

Let’s think about this. Every other fan thinks LSU has had the best team in history except Bama fans. Thanks for the good laugh keep trying.

Bama fans are feeling the effect of the decline and are doing anything to try to keep their head above the water. LOLOLOLOL

It doesn’t even matter what you think WE ALL KNOW who the GOAT is. LSU 2019 will never be touched! EVER

Did anyone read Myerberg's Twitter bio?
