re: Urban's so close to 3 NCs at 50 years old. Saban had zero at that age.

And there's Gus, still without a bowl win.

no just saying when both teams are ranked in the top 4 Urban seems to win more often.

Urban has also never backed into a championship without winning his own division or won due to a star player on the opposing team getting injured in the championship game itself like Colt McCoy did back in 2009. He is clearly better than Saban

Well yeh. Saban is bad vs equal teams. He is 8-12 vs top 10 teams while at Bama.......

you forgot where OSU was undefeated in 2012 with scholarship limitations and a bowl ban, which let 1-loss Bama sneak in a beat Notre dame. Like I said, it should already be 3-3

Meyer will flame out again.

usually, great coaches don't leave programs in complete shambles like URban did at Florida. Urban a likable person? LOL. He is as slimy a coach as there is out there.

I don't care how much the SEC refs have made UGA pay over the subsequent years with ridiculous personal foul penalties, the expression of apoplectic disbelief and rage on Urban's face after the end zone party in 2007 makes it all worth it.

Why did Urban leave UF? I think the pressure of recruiting against Saban played a part. Now he's got to recruit against Harbaugh, how long will he last?

That's essentially taking criticism away from Meyer for a bad season. That 2010 team was talented but Meyer could only muster 7 wins. If that happened to saban the board would lose it

Hard to pick Urban after what happened in 2010.

Diddy coming through in the clutch. I'm sure you'll grab some bites here. Truly a man of the craft.

In 2009, the SECCG was an undefeated UF v undefeated UA. So, Saban put him out of the BCSNCG with the win.

I'd much rather go 11-1 and get knocked out of the playoffs than go 6-6 and get blown out in a game that isn't "big"
