I'm fairly confident the B1G coaches dislike him. Apparently there was a gentleman's rule about not poaching a recruit if he is already verbally committed. I know this seems odd for down here where everyone is fair game till they sign the LOI but up there they abide by it. Urban of course, was having none of that and immediately started getting recruits that had committed to some place else. Needles to say this won him no friends.

In all honesty I think he comes around this year. Probably a top 5 SEC QB. Our o line should be able to help him out more this year barring injuries.

Good for Mett....if he can play like he did against Bama..and throw TD's and not interceptions and have really good receivers and a good OL and a decent QB coach and a pretty good OC...then I think he can come around.

Yeah Tressel got a 5-year show cause, he's a consultant with the Indianapolis Colts now.
As far as welching on other teams, Bruce Pearl pulled that shite at Iowa and got Illinois involved in an investigation that resulted in them getting a post-season ban. He then ended up not getting out of the mid-majors as a HC until Tennessee hired him several years later. I could only hope that something like that happens to Meyer when he's at Ohio State.

Man, Ryan was such a disappointment. Probably hyperbole but I really thought he had a chance at being our best since Bert Jones. Just a wasted talent.
