I disagree. Oregon is well known for running up the score. Why should OSU be nice when Oregon isn't?
I would hope that we would have done the same in a similar situation.

This is football, not hopscotch. To hell with all this shaking hands and taking a knee crap. Oregon has been pummeling shitty teams for a decade. Run that mother all the way up. I could care less about a bunch of pansies on a pansy football team getting their feelings hurt.

As a fan of a team that has suffered many a RUTS situation, it's the opposing team's job to stop it. Was anyone bitching when TCU was putting the screws to Ole Miss to prove a point?
That all said, if you go RUTS on a team you certainly can't bitch when someone does it to you in the future.

Oregon used a timeout after first down. Could have used last two and gotten ball back if they just knelt down. Why give yourself more chances to fumble and give a glimmer of a chance. Run the ball down their throat and finish the game.
What if Cordale did something crazy and fumbled trying to kneel. You all would have criticized urban for not just running it in. It's not like they were up by 30. It was a 2 score game. One play and oregon would be right back in it.

Well, in all fairness, his heart condition could be real ... "Frolicking" with the FL cheerleaders would probably put much stress on one's heart.
