I was on the 50 last year for the game and OM came to play. Bo Wallace threw some bad ints but it was a physical game. I suspect this year it will be physical too, but unless Alabama is totally flat...the result will probably be similar to last year...say 21 points.

If we can play a turnover free game, I think we keep it closer than that.

Bama by 10, but I'm hoping the game won't be in hand until sometime late in the 4th quarter.

Ole Miss generally plays us tough as hell home or away

Ole Miss is 9-46-2 against us.

Let that sink in.

They've won the game nine times.

Ever.

Now, that isn't to say that there's not precedent for Ole Miss to pull out a win, because there certainly is. We may not be as good as advertised, and they may be better than advertised. That's why we play the game.

Ole Miss has been putting something together in recent years, and frankly I've been pulling for them to improve. I think that over the next few years, they'll continue to improve and end up doing all of us proud.

That being said, I don't think this is their year. I could be wrong, but history dictates that a win would be precisely shocking.

I don't think Ole Miss defense is quite there yet.
Offensively they can do some things based on Bama's defensive performance so far but OM QB is like a statue back there and Bama will get to him.
Freeze is definitely turned that thing around quick. It's not like there catching Bama coming off a tough sec opponent either.

I believe it. AJ then goes on to cry in a PC and a plaque is put on the stadium after UA wins its 3rd in a row and 4 out of 5.

6. Ole Miss is not scared of Bama. Ole Miss was within a score late in 3rd quarter last year, and that team was not nearly as good as this Black Bear squad

I don't think they are scared of Bama per se, they still just don't have the horses to stick with Bama very much beyond the 3rd quarter. There is still a coaching/talent/experience gap there which will translate into a multi-score loss. They will get the most that they can out of what they have but it is what it is.

Yeah, but I think an exceptional season for Ole Miss is lurking somewhere around the corner, simply based on the trends.

I sincerely do.

I think bama will resurrect WAOM.

Bama beats our arse every year, this year is no different

Even if we win, will only be 9 wins ever vs them

Can't talk shite no matter the result because of this^^^

Again WAOM

Would rather be shite kicked by bama and later enjoy a win vs lsu

Lsu fans act like their team is as accomplished as bama

frick lsu

The end.

That's a pretty fair assessment of the game.

I'm not so sure how wide the coaching gap is just yet. I'm not willing to sell Freeze short. I've been extremely impressed with him since he's been at Ole Miss.

I think that once he recruits more depth and his players get more experience, watch the frick out.

Is that why he out ran lsu's secondary for a 50+ yard td run last year?

I agree with ya! He seems to be a good coach and a good fit for now. If he blows up though, you know there are a lot of teams in the shadows looking for a good coach and can throw the money down to get him.
