Kentucky an underdog vs. Mississippi State?

Picking Texas A&M over Alabama seems like a fool’s errand. LSU, recharged under interim coach Ed Orgeron, is a bad matchup for 3-3 Ole Miss, especially in Death Valley. Auburn-Arkansas might be the closest game of the week, but the Tigers hold an edge because of their defense.
That leaves one easy, obvious upset pick on the table. Here’s why Kentucky, a 3-point home underdog, can take down stumbling Mississippi State this weekend.

Welcome to Upset Alert, a weekly column about a Saturday favorite liable to get knocked off by the underdog.
A win at long last. Saturday saw 7.5-point underdog Arkansas knock off Ole Miss at home, as predicted last week. So we’ll try to keep the good mojo going in Week 8, which is surprisingly scarce in the upset candidate category.

Alabama will be on upset alert anytime they play anybody that's halfway decent. Because, OMG, if they lose, so and so can say "I told you so!" They'll beat Aggie by 14.

The most interesting thing to me is that this might be the first game the east wins over the west. If MSU wins, then maybe UF over LSU(certainly not a given). There is a decent chance that east loses every cross divisional game.

Yes the team with the worst defense in the conference is going to pull the upset on the road.

It would be something ky could hold over the rest of the east all off season if they got the only win vs the west. I hope they win out to the seccg

That would be awesome.Even though, I would have to eat some crow because I called them the worst team in the conference at the beginning of the year. I still want to see it.
