A&M:

1. Can the offensive line show improvement?
2. Can Knight be consistent?
3. Can we stop the run with Donovan Wilson on the field?

Vols:

1) Bottom line, make the SECC. Anything less than that is a failure
2) Secondary goal of busting either/or the UF and Bama streaks

ETA: Kinda misunderstood the point of the thread but im leaving work so too late

You forgot:

1. Linebacker play
2. Defensive line interior play
3. Kicking game

Offensive line development. And being better at third down defense than last year.

Offense:

1. Can we find anything at the QB position?
2. How healthy are Chubb and Michel going to be, especially early in the season?

Defense:

1. Will we be able to find any production on the defensive line with the lack of depth we have?
2. With the losses of Floyd and Jenkins who will be our main threat to rush the passer?

Obviously there are way more questions than this, but I feel like that is a pretty solid 4 to begin with.

1. 6 regular season wins.
2. Breaking one of the several streaks against us.*
3. Beating Louisville.

*Note - beating Florida would be a successful season in and of itself.

Still gotta get through November, but a passing game will make that a hell of a lot easier

Linebacker play

That's why I think it's important that we can stop the run with Wilson on the field.

1. Can Dobbs improve as a passer to keep Tennessee from becoming too one dimensional?
2. Will a WR step up and become a big play threat to keep defenses honest?
3. Can the defense get key stops in the 4th quarter under new coordinator Bob Shoop?

4. Can Butch Jones avoid shitting himself when VOLS get a two touchdown lead?

The easy choice is QB play after seeing what happen last year when Grier got suspended .Plus hearing rumors that Del Rio would have been the starter last year if he was eligible to play.

Defense being able to continue to be great will also be important to UFs success .
