My sophomore year was when that PhD student went in to Kimpel and shot his advisor and himself because he had gotten kicked out of the doctorate program. That was pretty fricked up. I was supposed to be in classing there like 30 minutes after it happened.

Its an interesting building, IMO. And its nicer than the other two on campus which are just plain old concrete garages. We garage like MFers.

damn. I kind of get that though. The frick him and then I don't want to go to jail but frick that guy attitude as opposed to the just jump attitude. So did anyone ever figure out if the kid was suicidal or what the deal was?

Meh, I was in there before the spring game. Its a nice store. Reminds me of an Apple Store or some shite. They put a second campus fitness center in the union where the old store had been.

I was in school, too. That was scary shite, and happened a few months after Columbine IIRC. Talk about freaked out.

A guy in my project group in one of my marketing classes (1997) committed suicide. The other guy and girl in my group and I met for our regular meeting and the guy never showed up. It was really sad. The guy seemed highly anxious and a bit bipolar and would usually show up with a buzz. The guy was already on edge and his mother recently went into intensive care from an accident. He hung himself in his dorm room.

One of my good friends was in the Texas library when that crazy arse kid ran in there with a gun and shot himself after sprinting across campus firing shots in the air with it a year or two ago. Said he could never study/go in there ever again after that. College does some crazy things to people.
