scared to play <> do not want to be in same conference. Aggie president has said from the point of leaving Big12 they would like to continue to play Texas. Texas has continued to say it is "up to them (Texas)when that happens". Stay on topic.

What happened when LSU played UAB?
LSU and UAB are not in the same state. But to answer your question, Lord Saban fricked it up good.

Didn't state play @ LaTech a few years ago? Why do they keep playing these CUSA teams home and away?

Even trade 2-for-1's with Sun Belt and CUSA teams have been our MO under this administration. I haven't ever seen the exact numbers, but it was widely reported that in the 55k seat stadium, this was still more profitable than buying 3 home games against the same opponents.

I'm sure we'll revisit the philosophy when we see the actual income the expanded stadium... generates...

I wonder what's better for Tuscaloosa's economy:

Having a team that's an hour away drive over, watch the game, have a meal, and leave town

OR

Have a team that's several hours away fill thousands of hotel beds, and buy multiple meals?

Not to mention the extra tax dollars the state of Alabama gets.

You're a Southern Miss fan. Should you be talking shite about sports? Or anything?

Not talking shite. Just facts. Why don't you tell me what you two bring to the SEC?

I know we're in a shite conference, so you can forget about shaming me.

Ole Miss brings the Memphis market, as i said before, one of the best accounting schools in the country, both medical and law schools (one of which just cured HIV in a child) and a $475 million endowment. Consistently in the top 15 for baseball year in and year out, just signed a top 5 class after having a winning season in football, won the SEC tournament and were one of 3 SEC teams to make the NCAA tournament this year.

ETA: There are other things but all of this is sufficient enough to prove that USM is the peasant school of Mississippi and will never come close to measuring up in any form to Ole Miss or State. Go back to practicing your theatre or taking your coaching classes. Our kids need someone to coach them in baseball while we're paying your salary.

There are fine girls at every southern school. My point is that if Alabama or Florida or Kentucky left there would be a void. If OM or State left no one would give a shite.

Being in a shite conference and being the biggest piece of shite in a shite conference is two different things.

Interdasting.
If we let go of ole miss and miss state, and added memphis and southern miss, wouldn't it really be any different?

I know you're trolling but for the sake of the argument, Ole Miss owns Memphis, not the University of Memphis.

But if Ole Miss was kicked out of the conference and Memphis got added to the SEC, Memphis would belong to them.
So really, is it any different?
