Ole Miss still has somewhat of a shot. Only games left are @Georgia (winnable), vs. Mississippi State (should win), and @Tennessee(should probably win). If Ole Miss wins two of those three (which is possible, maybe even all three), and Vanderbilt loses 2 of their last 3 games, that puts us ahead of Vandy for the 6 seed in the SEC tourney (Florida would be the 5 if we finish with the same record, they beat us twice). With this in mind, we would play the 11 seed (right now Tennessee), then would play three seed (right now Texas A&M), then would play the winner of game 8 (lets assume the higher seed wins, so South Carolina, who Ole Miss played very tough earlier this year), and then I assume Kentucky in the title game. It's a very long shot, but if Ole Miss can win all three of these final games, and then win 2 or 3 games in the SEC Tourney (giving us a record of 23-11 or 24-11), we would make a strong case to be a last four in team.

EDIT - If Ole Miss finishes with the same record as Vanderbilt, we would be the 6, as we hold the tiebreaker (we won our only regular season matchup 85-78)

So in other words, you have no shot to make the tournament.

Ole Miss is 1-5 against top-50 RPI teams, with the 121st-ranked SOS.

No shot unless they win the SEC Tournament.

UF kinda sucks too, at this point.

Should be a close, herp derp fest.

Yep and the loser is out of the tourney. LSU for good, UF out but with a slight prayer for making it in.

Bama has got to get more offensive production out of Hale, Norris, and Edwards. Coleman has done alright coming off the bench and Austin banked 2 three pointers against Kentucky, but Taylor and Hall are not very good post players offensively, so Bama has to rely heavily on the perimeter game. When Obasahan scores like 15 or more, Bama is 6-7. When he isn't as heavily relied on, Bama is 7-1.

I feel comfortable about the games at home vs Arkansas and Auburn, but if Bama falls at Georgia, I doubt they make it.

I think they can win their last 3, but they still might have work to do at that point. Just never know.

I think we locked up a top 4 seed in the SEC tournament last night as we have the tie breaker over every team in the top 7 of the standings except Kentucky. That would assure us of playing a decent opponent enough in the SECT that a loss wouldn't hurt us that bad. I think 1 more win and we are an absolute lock to make the tournament.

I said 2-1, because, technically, a 1-2 finish could land South Carolina outside the top 4 if LSU and Vandy win out.

Technically, yes, but you and I both know that isn't happening. You can go ahead and pencil us in with the double bye.

Thanks to an injury sustained against your Gators. Your post is pure trash. Get some class.

Technically we could win the natty in football next year, but I think I can go ahead and pencil in us not doing so. It's the same thing. We're a top 4 seed in the SECT.

There is a less than 1% shot that we get an at large bid. We definitely would have to win out and at least make the tournament finals. And I think that one of those tournament wins HAS to be Kentucky. Maybe A&M would do it. But at this point we are just needing to get the best seed possible and try to win that thing. Not likely though.
