Hasn’t Ole Miss been in the SEC like 90 years longer than us? They never won it? Or never won in the SEC conference era? What’s the timeframe?

Never won it in the East-West era. We have 6 conference titles but nothing since the 60s

4th and 25 conversion away from winning the West?

1-0 vs Missouri

I forgot bammer ever played Mizzou.

Mizzou had some salty teams when they won the SEC East back-to-back in 2013/2014 with Gary Pinkel.

Two things stick out beyond the Bama domination. Arkansas has actually been there 3 times and Georgia has a terrible record when it's essentially a home game every year in their home state theoretically providing an advantage.

2 of Georgia’s wins came against us.

It’s truly sad how bad GA has performed in their stadium. The East has been weak so many years minus UFs domination and GA past 3 years.

Auburn played the most different teams:
Tennessee in 1997 and 2004
Florida in 2000
South Carolina in 2010
Mizzou in 2013
UGA in 2017

To play in the game six times and only repeat opponent once is interesting.

And there's no hardware for winning fewer but having a nicer win percentage!

Listing by number of wins gives a better perspective on success during this era.

And forever more it will show that Alabama and Florida ran this conference in the East/West divisional era.

And tied for 1st in 98.

3 outright and 1 shared West.

Arkansas was the first team other than Alabama and Florida to play in the SEC championship game.

Saban losing his first one at Bama and then winning his next nine is amazing

If you throw in his 2-0 record in the SECCG at LSU he is 11-1!
