You couldn't even beat Bama on the road, what makes you think you're going into any of those teams's places and win?

Yall couldn't beat Mississippi State on the road... But like I've said, I think this team has started playing much better basketball lately. Not saying we are going to win any of those, but making an observation that LSU has a lot of chances moving forward to get yet another quality win.

shite I hope we both get into the tournament, but I just agree with the rest of the world that thinks we are currently a better candidate for the tournament than Ole Miss.

You're probably one of those guys that obsesses over basketball recruiting rankings, amirite?

Our backcourt has been to the tournament and won a game before. What about yours?

i dont know what you are so upset about. It's an honest assessment. Marshall Henderson takes a lot of bad shots and his 3 pt % is average in the league. I do think Summers is a good player, but you cant win with one good player. I dont think anyone on your frontcourt is impressive at all.

I think you'll end up slightly being a better candidate. You will probably still need to win a game or two in the SEC tournament.

You've already said that Ole Miss is currently behind LSU - based on LSU's wins over Mizzou and Kentucky.

Ole Miss's next 2 games are Kentucky and Mizzou, so by Saturday we can discuss this. However, I've got a strong feeling that you won't be anywhere near here after tonight.

We rarely beat State on the road, didn't do it last year when they were atrocious.

You've played four out of five at home, that's why you've "played better".

Our W against UK is enough alone to justify being more deserving than OM as of now

we will have 2 or 3 more bad losses, and eventually end up in the NIT.

To be fair, recruiting in college basketball is 95% of the game. Basketball players out of high school are pretty much as physically developed as they will get. Its why the jump straight to the NBA was possible, and its why the best raw player every year is a freshman. Guys settle into systems and get better for their team but thats about it.

Its also why NCAA basketball is so far behind football, there is just too little development at the college level.

We're facing UK @ UK. They're undefeated there. This is nothing more than a free shot. I feel like we'll play them a close game two weeks from today in the Tad Pad. I do think however we'll beat Mizzou at home on Saturday.

Fair enough. I disagree, but I understand where you are coming from. Our biggest change has been mindset. I'm hoping our guys can continue to fight hard. Still time for our players to show it's real and not just home vs away.

I follow a lot of SEC basketball and I still am not impressed with OM. They beat us, but I don't think they are as good as us nor do I think they are NCAA bound.

Gotta wait until the season is over to jump off a ledge.

This is for the selection committee.
