Know the team had a number of injuries and had that four game stretch that was really difficult. Is it a combination of these two items, is it coaching or just not have the talent this season?

Everyone with a healthy outside perspective knew they'd melt down for one reason or another. Tennessee has been "back baby!" For multiple years running

They've had a lot of injuries but still Just lost a game they shouldn't have. USCe is just terrible.

Sat outside the RV watching the game last night in a MS rest area while switching between this game and the Auburn/Ole Miss game. Dobbs just looks shell shocked, mechanics all wrong, etc. It just looks like the team has a look of anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

Guess when you look at the UT wins this season, the last three games should have been easily predicted. Something is missing up in Knoxville.

Not with Jake we ain't. Believe Gus wanted him badly on his bus. Seems to me y'all wanted Jamarcus, too. I like Auburn, hired students from there. Great school, faculty and people. But you are an arse.

They were never going to be very good. I didn't get the hype.

Agreed, having the same players back is great and all, but they were basically the same team as last year which did nothing special

They are lucky they do not have a losing record right now

How you could watch their first 5 games and not see this coming is beyond me

They arent good. They dont have a good coach.

Thats all

Injuries without solid depth
Some good talent, some average
Average HC & coaching staff
Inconsistent, sloppy, TO-prone
No QB coach, QB not that good
....etc.

Well coached teams should and typically do improve as season progresses. Vols haven't.

How long would it take for a good coach to turn this program around? Thought they had some good recruiting classes in the past 2-3 years so talent should be available

They squeak by App State in OT, and needed a Hail Mary to beat a bad UGA team. I don't really see what is surprising. We might even see UK or Vandy give them a good game.

The coaching is atrocious. They have no identity. They're trash. And I wanted them to be good. They have disappointed me this season to say the least. They have GOT to be the most infuriating team to be a fan of. I thought being a fan of LSU was bad..

Tennessee will probably split UK and Vandy. It would be absolutely GLORIOUS if UK won the East.
