It's not all bad. When I go there I'm just very selective about where I go and I try not to stay any longer than I have to. I actually do feel relatively safe in the downtown jail.

While there's random stuff in both places it is really just a matter of using common sense and staying away from specific places where the bulk of the bad stuff occurs. Those places are ones that you really wouldn't want to visit anyway.

That is very subjective, Arkansas has some great places.

I've never seen a fanbase get so much mileage on flipping a 2* safety

Stealing the 2* (overlooked, diamond in the rough) is not the entirety of the ownage. It's pretty much everything all together sports wise save for the organized exercising competitions.

Grew up in Florida went to Arkansas by choice. Beaches get old when you live there, the state is full of lunatics and losers, if I was retiring tomorrow it would be Arkansas over Florida and it's not even close.

The Ozarks are beautiful. There's no doubt. There are parts of Florida that are just as beautiful. It not surprising that folks are parochial about this kind of issue.

Utah is one of the prettiest places I've seen. I'd still not like to live there because it's too far from NaClH2O.

Good for you.

It's great that the US has so much geographical diversity. There's something for everyone.

I'd like to visit Arkansas but I have no desire to live there.

I enjoy Florida but only certain places and in one or two week trips.

Nothing beats a week in the Keys to relax. Wearing flip flops and shorts and being able to go into any establishment. Water on both sides, no sense of time.

Also the Pub-Subs FTW.

Once you have to live in and work in Florida though it sucks balls.

Absolute truth. Lived in the SouthWest for two years talk about an incredibly different experience. Not sure I'd ever settle out there but damn I enjoyed the wide open spaces and the high desert.

Those desert colors are a joy to see for sure.

The only areas I have left on the list are the Pacific NW, Maine, more time in the SW and Arkansas. I've got pretty much everything else off the list geographically speaking.

The only Cities I have left that I want to visit are Chicago and Boston.

I'm knocking out the list.

I'm from the Mountains and absolutely love living and working in FL. Different tastes.

What part of FL did you live/work?

I lived in Hawaii for about 5 years, and let me tell ya, when my plane landed for the final time in Harrison, Arkansas and I was home, I nearly kissed the ground.

The stuff to do outdoors here in Arkansas are just as good as anywhere else I've been if not better, and that includes Florida. I have family in Kissimmee now. But to me it's the people of Arkansas that make it so special. I love to travel and see other places, but I wouldn't trade Arkansas as a HOME for any other place.
