I'll take UNC's team over ours on paper any day of the week. So no i'm pretty sure we're not embarassed. We have all of one true Defensive Tackle. And 4 Freshman OLine. We're not 2001 Miami out there.

Outside of Austin and Quinn and maybe Bruce Carter, none of those players would state for South Carolina. Not saying that because we are by any means an elite team, but that's just the way it is.

We were within the 5 yard line. Much different than on the edge of field goal range with less time.
It was a dumber call than anything Miles has done.

It's a damn basketball school. Of course they are gonna celebrate a bowl win. No matter how shitty they played and barely won or how shitty the bowl/team they played was.

I don't think so..the field goal was 39 yards with the penalty.
It just goes to show that during crunch time, lots of teams struggle with communication and management of those final seconds.
I see it happen in the NFL as well..
People need to lay off Miles...Crowton however, he is fair game as far I am concerned

No,since he is the reason they are in this mess. He hired Blake knowing what he is. Davis recruited the thugs at Miami who were such an embarrassment that the school set character standards for bringing in recruits to their program.

His interview after the game made more sense than the actual game ending. He said that with 16 seconds, they ran the ball to chew 8 or 9 seconds and had "lightning kick" called after but no one knew what to do and panicked.

why the hell would you rush with a lightning kick call when its not needed? they could have kneeled it, spiked it, kicked it. All that lightning shite is just making something simple, more difficult...ala what happened in the game

five yards closer or better angle, take your pick on the excuse. They had plenty of time with all the reviewing toward the end of the game to not have all that confusion though.
