But he's won 80% of his games in the glory years of the SEC. With blow out wins against Oregon, Notre dame, Ohio state, miami( when they were good), west va ( twice),va tech and many more.

I have to go B just because he's proven he can win consistently. Coordinators don't always become great head coaches. Come back to the question in three years. I'd say A has more upside possibly but the other is proven to be a consistent winner.

Which one was only a head coach because the guy he was a coordinator for was the AD of that school?
