Returning Heisman Winner

Leading Receiver Returning

Good O-Line coming back except Joeckel

Most rushers coming back + some good newcomers

Favorable schedule, with 4 bad non conference teams all at home, Alabama at home, only LSU on the road as a tough game away from Kyle

Momentum from last season

And what happens? 9-3 finish at best, 4th place in SEC West finish at best. A worse season than last year, and no signature win like Alabama to back it up. Cotton Bowl at best, no BCS appearance.

When your best win is Ole Miss, you had a failure of a season.

A&M fans will probably say "Hey going 9-3 or 8-4 in the SEC isn't a failure!" but get real. The expectations this season were BCS bowl or bust. Chance at a SEC title and national title.

If I told you going into the year that the Cotton Bowl and a 4th place SEC West finish would be the result, you all would have laughed and said no, and said that would be a letdown.

What a major letdown due to the expectations coming into this year. And with JFF gone, Evans gone, Matthews gone, and possibly Sumlin gone, this may be the peak for the near future.

I wonder if Mizzou fans feel like they are looking into the future when looking at how A&m and the difference from last year to this year.

You left off worse defense than last year.

Sumlin will never win shite if he doesn't start emphasizing defense. That was his problem at Houston as well.

"We're playing without six starters who were suspended. This isn't what our defense really looks like."

Hate to take the wind out of your sales, but I agree. This season has been an unmitigated failure. With even a mediocre defense, this season could have been special.

Glad I wasn't one of the ones on here talking smack. Would have made this disappointing season even worse.

Nah. 8-4, 9-3 would be a good season for us next year. We have to get ourselves established in the conference as being competitive year in and year out first.

Just because somesone says they root for Mizzou doesn't mean they speak for Mizzou fans. My guess is that most Mizzou fans don't root for A&M failure or on the other hand don't think about it much if they do fail. A&M wasn't a big rival for Mizzou in the Big 12 and probably won't be in the SEC either. The only thing I think about A&M right now is I hope Mizzou beats them Saturday, the rest is A&M's business.

Probably a UTa fan. He changes his team logo to whoever A&M is playing and trolls Aggies 24-7.

This season has been a failure due to the high expectations set by our inaugural year in the SEC. Next year will likely be a rough one. The key to our success from 2015 on is sustaining the recruiting momentum we've had. If we continue to bring in the type of talent we are now, we'll be a contender year in and out.

He does live in Texas.

That much, he has confirmed.

I would gladly trade our massive failure for theirs.

Not sure on that, return 3/5 of OL, all backs, Mauk/Printz, Good WR's, DL 2/4 starters plus Golden/Ray, lose DB's (weakness already) and 1/3 backers that is not a set up for a fall off, though this is the SEC and it is tough every year (see LSu & A&M this year)
