You sound like you are afraid to face us and have to pin your hopes on Arky knocking us off since you were incapable of doing so at your own house.

Possible, although I don't expect the rankings wouldn't work out that way.

Arkansas could win The Boot, but still get the boot!

I don't understand why everyone has penciled Alabama as the undisputed No. 2 team in the nation. What have they done schedule wise that puts them so far ahead of OSU in the eyes of the media/fans?

Even before OSU lost, people were still claiming that Bama was the 2nd best team and that they deserved to be in the BCSNCG over OSU.

Dude....are you really taking the "im a complete pussy" and blame the refs stance? For christs sake....you were beaten...at home...and it very well could have been worse. That being said, if...and I mean IF you pull the upset in the bcsnc, then you will be the national champion....period, and I for one accept that. That being said, I think we torch your arse in the dome....and when we do, will you be man enough to admit that LSU is the national champ....without blaming refs...or kickers...or voodoo...or any other bullshite???

No upset. Alabama will be favored.

the only problem i have with other teams not winning their conference, is bama isnt going to win their division. We beat arknsas and lose to uga, they finish third in the sec. Now if you dont have a 1 loss conference champion, then I think bama has the argument. But thats not how it works, so ill gladly play them again in NO.

Since Bama is about 18-5 at BR since 1964, I think we kinda like playing LSU down in that area.

Talking about previous seasons is irrelevant.

The fact is, this game Friday, between LSU and AR is the NCG! Just like the LSU / GUMP game was. The only team that has controlled it's own fate is LSU, everybody else has had to "hope" somebody else loses to make them climb in the rankings.

On Friday, when the pigs go home, the Tigers will be headed to GA for one more scrimmage before we head to N.O.

Glad you're so confident. I'm not sure Bama gets past The Barn this weekend.

Dont sell yourself short, that Bama team is a great team, short of a mistake or two the table would be turned. I don't see that happening again.

Bama's best shot at playing in the BCS is LSU winning out.

Ever since the clock struck 5:51 (9-6), Bama has had to hope that other teams lose and so far it has worked. LSU controls its own destiny. If the tigers lose then its their own fault. However, next year when Bama comes to BR, LSU will request the NCAA for a temporary rule change so Bama does not cry so mucch. Bama will get a free do over for every 2nd field goal miss.

I have no problem playing the SECCG if none of our players get hurt. Thats the only concern I have of playing another game

Everybody that watched the game saw the officiating.

Hmm. I didn't think the Gumps ever complained about officiating ?

I think a lot of people also saw Alabama never take one snap at first and goal, either. Contrary to what Jay Barker thinks, just lining up for a field goal does not = offensive success.
