ULM has beaten Bama in a football game more recently than Mississippi State has.

Yes, by one week if I recall correctly.

You like beating up cripples? Huh?

Georgia is going to throttle you.

Same goes for Tennessee, Vandy, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Georgia was in that mix up until January.

I feel a bit singed by that one, and I don't have any affiliation with TN. LOL

Good show.

I remember the MSU pick-6 that pretty much gave them momentum the rest of the game.

I'm old enough to remember Mississippi State beating us in 1980. Alabama was on a 28 straight winning streak, and then it happened...."After 28 came Mississippi State".

Even with the 2014 games, that 100 yard return was the loudest I think I have heard the stadium.

A couple of the guys I sit with at games were on that team. Said bear Bryant came to the locker room after the game to congratulate them on their hard fought victory.

Those early 80’s state teams were damn good. I know older LSU folks remember the name John Bond

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are undefeated against Bama in post season bowl games. Let that sink in.

I was at that game with my Dad. Craziest, loudest I have ever heard a stadium.
State’s defense that day was lights out.
Alabama kicked a 50 yard FG on the last play of the half and then of course fumbled the ball at the goal with seconds left. It was an unbelievable experience.

That is only time in my lifetime that the opposing coach went to the other locker room to congratulate the other team after his own team lost. Bear was pure class.
