the Wildcats squad. Their are some interesting rumors swirling out there since yesterday. Kid has always been a head case but was really producing for you all this year. What's the deal, good week to have an episode with EKU coming in.

No. Stoops addressed it yesterday and again with the media today. He's not leaving the team or quitting. He is dealing with some personal/off the field stuff that's kept him out of practice.

No, kid got yanked out of the Mizzou game because he missed a block on a blitz. Guess Boom didn't like getting called on it and refused to go into the rest of the game. Stoops had a meeting with Boom and allowing him to figure things out. He did not practice yesterday, but indications, he will be back this week. Not the first time he has had issues with the team this year (fight during a night practice before the Laffy game.
One thing about Stoops. he does not put up with bullshite. Word is, Boom will sit out the EKU game.

FWIW I don't buy any of this "personal" stuff. He got yanked and got his feelings hurt. He sprinted off the field after the Mizzou win. I told my wife right then that he was pissed. If I'm a leader on that team, Boom would have to earn his way back. We need our guys to be excited to win, not mad because they didn't play.
