I did not go this year, but have been to about the last 25+ years. The older UK fans are the worst. Very entitled group of folks. Younger fans are generally very friendly. It is amazing to hear their reaction when a foul is called against UK though. The boys in blue never foul and are fouled on every possession.
I'll tell you what, though. For obnoxious fanbase, nobody comes close to Arky when they first joined the SEC. They came in thinking they were going to run through the SEC tourney with no opposition. It did my heart good to see them lose in the tourney each year.
All that said, the closest I've ever come to getting into an altercation was with another LSU fan who was drunk and obnoxious. His friends did him no favors by letting him carry on. Ended up being escorted away after he tried to follow a lady into to restroom arguing with her.

You obviously weren't there with your brethren. You guys had a helluva run and were fun to watch as long as it was against someone else. But the fans who went to the SEC tourney were obnoxious. There's no other way to put it. It says nothing about the teams accomplishments.

I concede that point.
I sat next to a couple of UK fans last year at the PMAC. They were fun, friendly & polite and gave me some good insight about some of their players. They also said it was easier for them to get seats at away games than home.
It was definitely the older male Kentucky fans, out of the arena, in general public areas. Not impressed.

Meh. I go places all the time. Including SEC Tournaments. Where I don't whine and bitch like a stupid count because someone accidentally bumps into me coming off an elevator because I don't know what the hell I'm doing in a crowd.
But that's just me.
