Pretty much. Sometimes I think they just get tired of running the court with the players because of the faster game in the SEC.

It has happened with the past few years as the SEC seems to have moved to more teams that can run the ball. Worst is the B1G where the refs can stroll down the court and never seem to break a sweat.

Too many refs have different interpretations of the rules and far too often they can't even keep it consistent throughout the game.
if you want to call ticky tack shite, fine. But do it all game. If you want to let them play rough, great. But don't all the sudden tighten up calls out of nowhere.

I agree with you there. Refs need to be consistent all game long in terms of let 'em play or "i'm gonna call that" because players play to that. It's not fair to just change things mid game.
