Why? You do realize that Peyton runs offensive meeting by himself without coaches.

Would be interesting, not sure it would be effective. I don't see a pure pocket passer being the best bet at QB again unless the game changes, and it would be a big change dumbing down your knowledge to apply it on a college level. Would probably be a much better QB coach in the NFL.

[comment you are responding to]it not because of his abilities, I am aware of ability to break down the game and run his offense.

Still won't beat Florida no matter how Godawful the Gators are.

I expect he would go to LSU or Tulane, to be close to mom and dad in his retirement years.

Would Peyton really want to be on the road recruiting?

I think Peyton is smart enough to know what goes into being a QB coach in college, if he said he would love to be a QB coach I think he understand what all it entails.

Pocket passers will always be a better bet in the NFL.
You have the exceptions like Andrew Luck/ Aaron Rodgers who can run but they are pass QBs first.

Danny Wueffel would be the better choice, he owned UT and Peyton. He could show them how to win some SEC championships.

LMAO at ewe thinking Peyton Manning would have to go on the road to recruit. We'd probably have to start a waiting list for potential 4 and 5 stars that want to be a part of the program.

I thought that's what Butch has already established? It's only a matter of time before they reach the leVOL of success they're used to, right?

He won't be nearly as good as Jon Gruden as LSU's running backs coach.
