With all the talk about LSU and SCs coaching searches i was wondering whats up with the Dawgs? Is Richt staying or if not who are their top choices for a HC?

It would take a loss to Tech this weekend and another in the bowl game to even consider it. And even then I'd imagine Richt just stepping down with the amount of heat he will get from the fanbase losing to Tech 2 years in a row

70% Richt is back at UGA next season.

The 30% barring the outcome of this weekends game against Tech

I highly doubt he's gone even with a loss to tech

With all the coaching jobs open and the fact he's obviously not a good fit with Richt there is almost zero chance Pruitt is in Athens next season.

While you're probably right, if you think the heat of Richt's seat was hot after Florida I find it hard that Richt would survive the fanbase if he lost to a 3-8 Tech team for the 2nd year in a row. The only thing that would save him would be a 17 year old in Washington State

Give me the list AU is perusing due to Muschamp's impending departure and we can agree to both choose from that one.

that's a concern, but again until there is actual smoke/fire/talk about him leaving it's just speculation

oh cmon. He hates schott but he wouldn't have left his national title winning FSU team after 1 year to come here if he and richt didn't get along. He even said it has been a "dream" (or something, cna't remember the specific word) to work with richt.

His problems wiht UGA are our shite offense and our cheap admin. Not richt.

fans dont' make the decision though, mcgarity and morehead do. Mcgarity, if he were inclined, could easily say,

"well ya know, we went 8-5 this year in a year with no established QB and our heisman candidate going down early. We're gonna give him some more time"

I'm just saying the people making these decisions aren't posting on message boards, so for as pissed off as we'll all be it doesn't mean he'll necessarily be gone.

While you and Gus are wanting so hard to believe the rumors about Pruitt are true, and I agree there's a lot of smoke to not be some fire, it has been documented by many sources that Pruitt and Richt isn't the problem, it's Pruitt and the offensive coaching staff. Which by the results on the field this season, Pruitt is gonna win that battle this offseason
