Have a feeling that Gaines will sit, Parker will sit, Mann's minutes will be limited after last night, and this one will get ugly but Fox just wants the backcourt healthy for the NCAAt.

You know, unless Taylor Echols finds some shoes hanging from the power lines a la "Like Mike" starring Lil' Bow Wow.

I expect this to be another nailbiter. This team drives me crazy at times. Our team has gotten better every year under CMA, but I don't feel like we're all the way back yet.

We're not "all the way back"? What will it take to be back, according to you?

I say lets just play all the white guys on the bench and rest the starters.

I don't think the Hogs can stay in the game, with this strategy.

-Not letting up when up big.
-Fewer careless passes directly to the other team's players.
-Someone that can adequately step in for Beard.
-A third scorer we can depend on for 12-15 pts.
-A fairly consistent 'shooter', ala Pat Bradley, Al Dillard, for when we need 3's (or Bell to become more consistent, too many 'off' nights.)

Just a few things that would make me feel better...

So 25-7, best record since 98, best SEC record since 94, sell out crowds, SEC player of the year, etc. means we're still not back?

You're tough to please if that's the case. The stuff you mentioned is tiny and misguided.

My point being...we have to rest up for the tourney. Trying to win today is moot because you still have to face Kentucky and they will be nearly impossible to win against. In lieu of forfeiting, play only the bech guys today.

I don't really disagree with this. If I were Fox I would limit Nemi, Mann, and Thornton's minutes, I would sit Gaines and Parker, and I would try to let JJ get his groove back while letting Maten try to build on some recent solid performances in the post. Kessler, Geno, Echols, and Forte would be getting a lot of minutes if I were a coach. Granted, that means you're setting yourself up for a bloodbath, but a loss doesn't really hurt you and win doesn't really help, so I think it'd be best to rest our guys, avoid injury, and get healthy.

Will be a close game. Don't expect to come out shooting the way we did last night.

UGA will get some easy arse buckets like every team against us.

Really need Bell and Beard to hit some 3s.

I would not be surprised if Arkansas and Georgia both try to rotate as many players into the game as they can to keep legs fresh for the tourney. Both teams are playing with house money at this point; a win and a matchup with Kentucky would be nice but isn't really needed.

I suspect it will be another close game between the two teams with a slight edge going to Arkansas.

You're right, I was thinking of the LSU game that went to double OT. However, the first match up went down to the wire with AK pulling it off at the very end. I think we'll see the same thing here.

When did you play Alaska? I was not even aware they had a basketball team. And you lost?
