That series will never happen, by then Texas and Oklahoma will be in PAC 16 and LSU and Arkansas will have left for the Big 12
Schedule will be all conference games

We had a home and home with UCLA in the early 80s.

Interesting note. SC has only played teams from the PAC-14 a total of two times. A home and home against So. Cal in 1980 and 1983. Each home team won.

In comparison how many PAC-14 teams have LSU and UT played since the turn of the century?

Don't get me wrong. I understand why we schedule ACC teams, but I'd love to have a home and home with a unique opponent.

we've done this fairly frequently the last 7 years, relatively speaking.

If so, it's 2025 at the absolute max. That'd be 25 years at uga

I just can't see it. I know we're entering into a "new phase" of the richt regime, which will likely be his last phase. But I just can't see him being here 10 more years..especially if we win a national title between now and then. Which seems likely :)

Probably won't go well for UGA, they are losing a lot in 2024. Probably be going out there with a first year QB. UCLA will be returning 9 out 11 starters on both sides the ball.

I could see richt retiring at 2020 with or without a title.

I was at the game in 1983, we won 19-8, but we really wore them down all game - we beat them worse than the score showed.

They had brought in huge fans and laid ice down in front of them by the benches to cool down their players.

We never got the return trip to Cali; they shite canned the game and paid the buy-out. They DID NOT want to play us again - pretty sad...

The terrible thing about P5 schedules is that they are made so far in advance. There are few surprises unless some schools back out of contracts and ADs have to adjust on the fly.

That having been said, I tip my hat to the Bulldogs. UCLA is a solid OOC opponent.
