The Olympics will be a prime target for terrorism, hopefully it won't happen though.
Rio has other issues as well with the Zika Virus scare, dirty water, rampant poverty, etc.

It's a shitty reality.
These pro golfers who are bailing aren't just worried for their own health...they're afraid of infecting their wives when they come home. Watch and see how many American athletes or their loved ones get sick.
Rio is a shitty cesspool of violent crime even in normal times. Throw in ISIS and Zika, and yeah, athletes are going to be damn lucky to return home alive and uninfected.

We've got 15 athletes/coaches in swimming, not sure about anything else.
I think AU would have finished something like 15th if it were a country at Beijing, but a lot of those medal winners are likely to be less competitive this time, i'd think.

You are very correct here. Fred bousquet?sp may be your only shot at a swimming medal, and that is via relay. I also think 4 or 5 of those 15 are appearing as coaches, not athletes.

I was wrong. Looks like we have 15 athletes that are going...68 was the number competing in Olympic trials.
