If Fromm continues to get it done, and the number one overall high school qb makes it onto campus next spring, does anyone see Eason transferring out? Calling Baton Rouge..

Georgia would never let Eason go to another SEC school or Georgia Tech. Never.

He'd go back west.

I think LSU needs all the QB help they can get. Bama rolls easily this weekend...

If Eason transfers he's either going to Miami or out west.

Kirby would never on his life let Eason go somewhere in the SEC.

I don't want Eason, I don't think he's good at football.

He's one of those guys that has all the tools but can't put it together. He looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane.

I think his issues are along the lines of lack of heart and lack of confidence. A QB has to be the life blood of the offense and Eason looks like a deer in headlights when he's out there.

I honestly believe that him getting hurt was a blessing for UGA, no way would they have come back to beat ND with him under center.

My thinking as well. Petersen would likely be glad to have Eason at Washington.

He just lacks the mental toughness and the ability to handle the game.

If he gets coached up he'll be a force. The tools are all there and he's shown flashes of brilliance. I think if he goes out west into one of those spread offenses he'll be great. The pro-style stuff UGA runs doesn't mesh with his past experiences.

Also I feel the competition level at his high school vs. Fromm's (Georgia HS football) is vastly different and the reason why Fromm was able to fill-in and then steal the job.

From my understanding he's been more into trying to slay as many women there at UGA (the whole reason he went there) then learning anything about football or doing school shite.

Nothing wrong with that, really, but if you're going to be the next Farve or Brady, you need to be focusing a little bit on football, right?

100% accurate. When he graduated HS early that boy lived downtown. I would always see him in the back of Bourbon. Several times people found him passed out in the elevators of the freshmen dorms (football players don't live anywhere near the freshmen high rises).

Last week on the bye my friends saw him downtown in an unbuttoned Hawaiian and captains hat on just drunk as hell.

Eason reminds me of Mett.

People are judging his fortitude off of a true freshman season which is laughable. If that is the measurement, Stafford will never get paid in the NFL.

Like Mett (or Farve), it is going to take a team with some patience to mature Eason on the field.

Mett was a good college qb in his redshirt senior season. It might take Eason 4 (or maybe a 5th season like Mett) in order to produce wins on his back (i.e. carry an offense when the running game is struggling). For what it is worth, Stafford couldn't carry an offense without a ground game until his bowl appearance his junior season against Michigan State. We got 1 great game out of Stafford before he got paid. Was it worth all of the struggles as he was being groomed? How much patience does a coach/fan base have?

Those are two HUGE intangibles that QB must have to succeed. A coach can't help #1 and can only do so much to help #2.

Those attributes are basically what separates good players from great players or below average players and average players.

Etling can't hold Eason's jock when it comes to physical tools but he kicks the shite out of Eason when it comes to mental toughness and handling the game.

Etling has more flaws than I care to get into but he's one tough SOB and he knows what needs to be done. On multiple occasions Danny has risked his body to get us a crucial first down knowing that we need it to win the game. Eason either wouldn't even realize how crucial the first is or wouldn't have the balls to take the punishment necessary to get to the sticks.

I'm sorry but those type of intangible faults can't really be fixed.
