Nah. He's not getting kicked off the team for moral violations. Thus he will not be heading to JUCO and Auburn and LSU have no shot.

Bummer for them.

JuCo would be the best way back into the SEC.

He could head to Bobo out West.

If it were me, I would shine and start right away at JuCo and then picky best landing spot

I'm guessing he'll pick a D-1 team in a different conference (ACC?) with a favorable QB roster that he can come in and have a great chance of starting either this season or next. Doubt if he'll go the JUCO route unless he absolutely has to.

And most of those that go that route absolutely have to.

The benefit of Juco is that he plays right away.

D1 is D1 and he's still an underclassman with a lot to learn.
The best way to learn it is with live reps.

Mett had a god awful completion percentage at Butler.
But he was easily the best talent on the field. And he was able to get the game reps he needed to drive his development.
