Not to be outdone by the Aggies I see. Is there some kind of SEC level tPOS trophy> We already have the Fulmer Cup, but that's the national award.

Great idea, perhaps we can name it for a notable head coach from the SEC.

Seriously, this is why UG has won 3 in a row

Honestly, I could care less about the perception of the program after these incidents. I just want guys that act like this and want to be constantly in trouble, out of the program. It gives guys that do it right; like Chris Conley, Gurley, etc., a bad name and draws attention away from them as positive role models.

Except that we've only won once, and it was years ago.

And it was with only like 19 total points which was one of the lowest ever.

Dynasty for a trophy named after a Tennessee coach by a Florida fan.

The Auburn jokes are stupid.

This guy is not good enough for Auburn.

If he was a starter, then yes.....bring on the Auburn transfer lock etc.

But a scrub?

Auburn does not take reject players unless they can ball.

https://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/85513/saban-richt-confront-disciplinary-issues

quote:

Richt has long been a lightning rod on the subject of discipline. Type “Mark Richt lost control” into Google and you will get roughly 29,000 results. But this offseason Richt developed an image of being tough on crime.

Really, b/c the guy who just got caught with the aggravated assault was caught stealing from the school just a couple months ago and he wasn't even suspended for a game?!?!

quote:

Georgia linebacker Ramik Wilson said it’s simple: “Do the right thing is all they ask.”

“You’re either going to do it Coach Richt’s way or you’re going to go home,[after a felony]” he added.

Strong words, wouldn’t you say?

Initial reports are that he strangled a girl in a fight. In that case, throw the book at him.

Get that POS out of Athens on a rail. I have absolutely no sympathy for assaulting a female. Regardless of her actions in the situation. UNREAL!

quote:

Georgia defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor was arrested early Tuesday on a charge of felony aggravated assault/family violence.
It’s his second arrest this offseason, putting his status on the Bulldogs’ football team in jeopardy.
Police determined that Taylor was the "primary aggressor" in a domestic violence inicdent at McWhorter Hall, according to University of Georgia police chief Jimmy Williamson.

quote:

There was evidence that the female victim had been "possibly strangled by the offender," in the incident in Taylor's dorm room, Williamson said. There was evidence that the victim and another individual had been involved in an argument in McWhorter Hall, police said. Officers determined an established relationship and "co-habitation" with the individuals.
The victim is a UGA student not enrolled in summer school.
