Why isn't GA tech competing for national championships in that talented recruiting state? Alabama is divided between the tide and the Tigers and they both compete on a national scale. Can tech be more than your little brothers ?

Academic standards, plus a lot of the big money boosters hate the coach so they don't give as much.

tech sucks. They run a high school offense and have a coach that is offensive to normal humans. He is - basically - human waste on two legs.
Gtech is to be despised and shunned. Frick them, their fans, and their entire institution.
They are everything that is wrong about the human race.

The better question is why UGA, with their lower entrance requirements and larger sidewalk fan base, doesn't compete for national championships.

Well, we certainly haven't competed for the level of shame experienced by auburn and tennessee.
