The UGA/SCAR series has been one of the most historically close series since expansion in the conference. I think it is second only to UGA/Auburn if I am not mistaken. So blowouts in this series have been rarer than a pretty girl in College Station.

Last year was a rarity big time. Georgia has a huge upper hand in the overall series but, even then, the games have, for the most part, always been very close ... many of them coming down to one or two plays.

This game is gonna be close. It's gonna be exciting. It counts for a lot, means a lot, in the overall scheme of things in the East.

UGA has homefield advantage and their backs to the wall. SCAR has momentum in the series having won the past three, they're playing for a lot of firsts, they've got motivations and a bit of a chip on their shoulder plus, I honestly believe they just have more depth for this one - are a more balanced team.

We'll see. I'm really looking forward to this game. And the oddsmakers must know something giving UGA the favorite status. I dunno - but it'll be close I would imagine.
