What is a frick nugget?

Is it anything like a chicken nugget?

I just bought a bottle of spicy ranch dip. I'm looking for possible culinary opportunities.

I didn't realize that. If the NCAA asked for the statements, would he or his family be obligated to comply...or would it be simply a request?

You know I forgot that too but "The NCAA notified Auburn of its investigation on Oct. 5, 2009, and requested documents including texts, emails and bank records for Cam Newton and his parents and for Cecil Newton's suburban Atlanta church from Dec. 1, 2008 to Sept. 1, 2010."

So I guess they can. And if they don't find anything he good to go.

As long as he is still under the NCAA umbrella, they are required to comply

Ah yes, kind of what we do but we do it full time. A QB that can run or pass

While Hutson Mason doesn't run, he actually has a higher QB Rating and more yards passing than Marshall.

Georgia has also leads the SEC in rushing. I will concede hat Auburn DOES play in a tougher division than us, so why don't we just wait until November 15th to see how it goes? That might be the safest way to go, right?

Georgia got ultraconservative on offense in the 2nd half because they had such a HUGE lead.

The defense was on the field for most of the 2nd half due to the lack of offense, and they lost their focus because the game was pretty much over.

He is. His family is not.

quote:

The NCAA constitution obligates schools to cooperate fully during investigations, but the lack of subpoena power normally associated with law enforcement agencies can present investigative challenges.

Individuals required to cooperate: Student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, coaches, athletics department staff, institutional personnel.

Individuals not required to cooperate: Parents, family and friends, high school coaches, some summer coaches, representatives of the institution’s athletics interests, such as boosters.

I had no idea...and that applies to his family, too?

Now THATis shocking to me. I can understand HIM being forced...but not the rest of his family. I am not insinuating that you are wrong....just saying it surprises me. There are a LOT of regulations I am not familiar with when it comes to the NCAA.

So predictable that AU fans would be the first to comment on this thread.

It's just shocking that their authority can extend to his family. Just doesn't seem right.

It would appear as if BOTH fan bases are obsessed with the other. But think about it....either would care about the other if either program was insignificant. Just a sympton of how important our game against each other is.

They can ask and the family can cooperate, but there is no obligation for the family members to cooperate.

With Cecil, he voluntarily provided bank statements at AUs request to help AU try to prove to the ncaa money didn't change hands.

Nothing like a little Auburn green to turn you, huh?

I just want all Auburn posters to know, that I can be bought too......and I probably come cheaper than Dallas!

Ok. That was what seemed odd to me. I wasn't disputing AUBNY word, though. He has alwayss eemed pretty fair and pretty shap. The only thing I have against him is he is a Y-A-N-K-E-E. I could even overlook that if we could get him in some red and black gear!

This is a thread about an NCAA investigation into a violation of rules.

Who would be better qualified than Auburn fans?
