Which hurt worse: Blackout or Washout?

It would have to be the blackout because they actually thought they were going to win that game. Yesterday they knew they were not going to win and you could tell all week that they knew it. They tried to talk themselves into believing that we were not a good team but the rain was a sign to them all that Bear Bryant is still running this shite from heaven. Row Tide!

They both hurt my soul equally.

Actually the blackout game was worse thinking back on it... At least we had stafford.

God I hate Mark Richt.

I'll tell you at the end of the season. Yesterday sucked, but I came away more impressed by Bama than anything else. No shame in losing to that 08 Bama team either. Sucks the ways we lost, but it just shows how good your team can look on certain weeks and it makes me question how y'all ever lose games. There is so much talent on that team we played yesterday.

It's interesting to me that right after the game practically all Bama fans were cool and respectful. Then the rest of them who have to travel to the library to access a computer have been a bunch of assholes.

And to answer the question, the blackout. By far.

It looks like correct punctuation is not your game.

Last line of defense in a message board flame: spelling and/or punctuation jabs. This is a message board, not a senior thesis. Be better.

I think the blackout was a stunner to them. Yesterday they knew it was a possibility, hence not as much of a shock to the system.

Washout? I guess that is the name for yesterday's a$$ boffing? I say Washout. I really thought we had something this year. At a minimum, I thought we would play well against BAMA. I was thinking of a score like 23 - 17 or similar. But then I should have remembered that we have Mark Richt and you have Nick Saban. Sigh. Richt is a great guy as we hear ad naseum but he does not prepare our team for big games and he gets out coached.

The more concerning thing to this UGA fan is the way we lost. We proved that we cannot play against an elite defense which does not bode well for us when we play UF or even UT to a lesser extent. UT is not elite but they are not bad either. I blame Richt again for the sucakge at QB. Last year was supposed to be a transition year for the QB role but it appears this is a transition year for QB as well.

As I hear over and over..... We will be good next year. Problem is we will still have Richt. He is a solid coach, just not a great coach. We win 7+ games a year and if that satisfies you... great. Keep kissing your sister.

We are not out of the SEC East yet and we still control our own destiny. God help us if we do win out and then embarrass ourselves in the SEC championship game. For better or for worse, that might be the end for the esteemed Coach Richt.

Not to hijack this thread, but - given the jackassery Richt has his kids doing to get "fired up" - how can UGA fans say this?

If you are referring to the taunting that the UGA players did as Bama entered the field, you will get no argument from me that the move was childish and stupid. It stunk of pissing off a lion before it devours you... oh well.

Blackout for sure. We thought we were hot shite before that game. This time we knew Bama was the most talented team in the nation.
