They said on last night's telecast of the game vs. Vandy that their stadium was estimated at 75% Georgia fans. Watching the views on TV was stunning.

UGA began a new tradition a few years ago of "lighting up Sanford" (I think other schools have begun to catch on and copy it, but that's ok). Two years ago, Dawgs fans took that tradition to Notre Dame (Irish fans were shocked), and to the Rose Bowl game vs. Oklahoma. They also did it at each home night game.

Here, we "light up" Vandy's Dudley Field. This is fun and amazing to watch!

Pretty standard for Vanderbilt to have more visiting fans than home.

Hate to break it to you my man, but people have been doing this at stadiums and concerts for more than a few years

Reminds me of Baylor. Going to Waco was always the cheapest way to see an Aggie game. It was at least 70% aggies.

I think we were. Some Redcoat Band members started it in 2015, I think it was. No other SEC school was doing it and I don't think any other school in the country was doing this. I watch a LOT of college ball and I'd never seen it anywhere until UGA began it. I've never seen it at A&M, either.

It’s the modern day “holding out a lighter”

Why would you ever think UGA was the first? As soon as cell phones had lights on them this has been happening

They said they were going to do it last year at LSU...didn't happen.

Last time I saw a big crowd “light up” their cell phones was at a Taylor Swift concert.

You go, UGA, with your bad self.

Well then, I guess UGA brought it up out of the Stone Age and put a 21st Century touch to it.

This isn’t that impressive... UT does this every 2 years, at the end of 5-7 campaigns.

Probably Bama. The same place UGA stole everything else about their current attempted identity.
